Getting to Essaouira
The closest airport is Essaouira, served by a few airlines offering direct flights from London, Brussels, Düsseldorf, Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon, Madrid, and Gran Canaria.
If the schedules or routes of these direct flights are not convenient for you, the best alternative is to fly into Marrakech or Agadir and travel to Essaouira by car, approximately 2.5 hours from Marrakech or 3.5 hours from Agadir.

Accommodation in Essaouira
Our treks depart at 9:30 am, so we recommend arriving in Essaouira the day before and staying in a hotel of your choice. The trek ends around 5 pm–6 pm, which is why many guests also choose to spend an additional night in Essaouira before taking their return flight.
We recommend staying in Essaouira’s medina. It has a wonderful charm with its narrow streets, small shops, cafés, and restaurants, and there are many lovely hotels and riads to choose from. For stays of at least 3 nights, you can book our apartment “Chez Nanie”, ideally located in the very heart of the medina.
